Description:

The Roxbury Road is an abandoned road to and abandoned village, Roxbury Settlement. It is a neat trip to see the old town as you wander in on what was the main road. The place once held as many as 135 people but a severe winter in 1895 and a economy based on logging could not support the town and it was abandoned in the early 1900's. Most of the fields are overgrown there is one building still there and the rest are just foundations.
