Pomquet Beach


Directions:


From the town of Antigonish on the 104, pass exit 35 and turn left on Taylor Road 1.8km later. Head to the end of Taylor Road, turn left and follow signs to Pomquet Provincial Park.

Description:

Pomquet Dunes trail is great interpretive trail along the shore starting out on an 8ft wide boardwalk. Take care though there is poison ivy in the area, you should never leave the boardwalk anyway. The is a variety of plants and birds in the area to enjoy as you walk with signage to explain what you are looking at. Since the trail is along the beach you can head back to the car whenever you like, there is no loop.
