Pollets Cove

Directions:

Heading from Pleasant Bay toward Red River outside of Highlands National Park head down Red River road, the Road passes the Gampo Abbey and ends near a yellow cottage. The trail begins just past the cottage.

Description:

Pollets Cove is a favorite of experinced hikers around Nova Scotia. The trail starts with some climbs but eventually offers views of 2 coves, both with camping sites. Pollets is the second cove surrounded by fields with horses and cows grazing and a stream winding through to the ocean. This is one of the most beautiful places in Atlantic Canada and many people stay 2 nights just to explore the area.
