North Light PeaJack Cove Trail


Directions:


Take exit 26 off Highway 101 at Digby. Follow signs to Digby Neck, follow neck to end of #217 on Brier Island (2 ferry crossings). Turn right off the Westport Ferry and travel to the end of the road at North Lighthouse and park. The trail starts on the other side of the Coast Guard station.

Description:

This is a well used trail that follows an old road that skirts the coast with great views of Harris Bluff, wild roses, water fowl. The trail passes Grand Passage Light station, Seal Cove and Gooseberry Cove. A great hike that offers views of Nova Scotia that are rarely seen but worth the trip.
