Description: This is the lightest -18°C sleeping bag on the market, 900 fill down makes it possible to achieve a -18°C bag that only weighs 2 pounds 8 ounces! To put that in perspective the average -18°C bag weighs a pound more, of course they cost $100 less.
This bag is super light and almost as important super compressable. I keep mine in a Sea to Summit water tight compression bag to keep it dry. With a Velcro free face muff makes a nice tight but comfortable closure. This bag has a surprising amount of room inside, I am 6'1", 185lb and I have all the room I need. Pertex 20d Quantum Ripstop may be compressable and light but it is not very durable, I have repaired it twice. The tears were small and they were easily fixed but that is the price you pay to get this weight. This bag has a 1/3 zipper and that is plenty for getting in and out and I do not miss the full length zip.
Overall this is a very comfortable bag that just happens to be the lighest you can get.
